Sketches for the Crafty Chica Challenge

I am working on the painted design for my beach bag for the Crafty Chica Challenge.  I have the bag pattern all ready to go, but first I need to paint the design.  I want to use the “tattoo flash” style that I used for my back patch, but I wanted a new design.chica bag, front

This is what I have for the front, but I think it needs something else/more/different.  I like the top and the bottom, but I need to work on the middle.  I can’t decide if I should add more stuff, start over on the middle portion, or revert back to the design for the back patch.chica bag, back I like the back, maybe the front is just too busy.  I need some advice, what should I do with the design for the front and how does the shape of the bag look?  Leave me a comment and help me decide!

I love this SO MUCH!!!! I don't think you need to add anything else as long as the finished product is blinged out. Glitter, rhinestones, the works!

Christy, I have to stock up on rhinestones and glitter, I REALLY want to win, we could have the "party" at one of our team meetings!

I'm new to your blog and read through all your posts. I found many things I would love to try. :) I love your creativity.

As for the bag, I think the font on the back will be fine in color and isn't too busy.
I like the front design too, but the skull seems a little busy, perhaps if it was just a tiny big bigger it would make you happier? I think Christy is right that you don't need anything else on it if you bling it out.

Again, I'm really enjoying your blog. Thanks for posting such wonderful ideas and instructions or links to them.

Hi Ashley, welcome! I think that you are right, I need to make the skull bigger, the small details are cluttering it up and making it to fussy, I'll have to give it another shot this weekend and see if I can clean it up a bit.
